Perform a variety of tasks surrounding the set-up and operation of a folding machine that folds sheets of paper into 4, 8, 12, 16, and 32-page sections.
 
Learn to interpret the information on the work order and its contents. 
Set up machine and perform quality folding that meets expectations. 
Inspect for quality defects ensuring quality standards are achieved. 
Maintain accurate data collections. 
Understand signatures, substrates, bulk, PPI, sig size, trim size, and specified margins. 
Oversee all segments of folder operation. 
Perform preventative maintenance, general cleaning and upkeep of machine and auxiliary equipment. 
Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs to machine and auxiliary equipment. 
Assist maintenance personnel with machine repair. 
Keep area safe and clean. 
Adequately communicate with oncoming shift 
Perform end of shift duties leaving area ready for oncoming shift. 
Assist training new operators and employees. 
Ability to meet deadlines and work overtime and other shifts required. 
Basic computer skills to work with Windows type applications.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to do basic trouble shooting when the equipment is not functioning.

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals. 
Must be able to stand/work 8 hours with overtime hours as needed
2 nd shift – Monday to Friday: 3 PM – 11 PM
