Associate Director of HLA/Immunogenetics Laboratory

Chief of Clinical Pathology for Temple University Health System (TUHS) & Medical Director of Clinical Laboratories at Temple University Hospital (TUH) – Health Sciences Campus and TUH - Jeanes Campus

Surgical Pathologist

Surgical Pathologist and Cytopathologist

The Department of Pathology receives over 21,000 surgical specimens, (excluding nearly 7,000 oral specimens), 3500 cytology specimens, 100 autopsies, and performs over 2.2 million laboratory tests in a typical year. Special diagnostic testing includes immunohistochemistry, in situ hybridization, advanced molecular diagnostics, electron microscopy, and whole slide imaging. Modern research laboratories are equipped for tissue culture, real-time PCR, techniques for advanced protein detection, laser confocal microscopy, flow cytometry and molecular biology.
