AE - Merchandise Leader (Part‑Time) American Eagle Outfitters Inc. Role Overview As the Merchandise Leader, you serve as the Merchandising Team Leader’s right hand, ensuring the store always upholds AEO Brand Visual Standards. You will execute effective floor sets, marketing and merchandising updates, and maintain a “guest‑ready” store through replenishment. You should have a keen eye for detail, a passion for visual standards, and a collaborative spirit to get the job done while embodying the company values. Responsibilities Support the Merchandising Team Leader in delivering an outstanding guest experience by ensuring the store represents AEO Brand Standards. Drive killer floor‑set execution by training and coaching the floor‑set team, setting clear productivity goals, and ensuring all store areas meet floor‑set standards. Own day‑to‑day merchandising, sell‑through adjustments, and replenishment, identifying merchandising opportunities and planning with leadership. Help the team understand how to maintain AEO Brand Standards through merchandising, adjustments, and replenishment so the store always looks fresh. Champion a culture of recognition and celebrate wins with the team, prioritizing the guest experience. Maintain store safety standards on the sales floor and in the stockroom, adhere to AEO policies, and contribute to shrink‑reducing strategies. Desired Qualities Love for AE and Aerie products. Strong organization and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively. Flexible availability—including early morning, late evening, and weekends—to keep product moving. Experience in retail merchandising and visual skills, with a proven retail history.
