**Certifications:** Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Registered CVI Specialist preferred
**Must-Have:**
- Basic knowledge of cardiovascular cath or electrophysiology procedures
- Basic knowledge of electrocardiography, coronary heart disease, cardiac anatomy, and physiology
- Ability to react quickly in emergency patient care situations
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and proficiency in English
**Job Description:**
- Train to assist physicians during cardiovascular cath and EP procedures.
- Function in monitoring, scrubbing, or circulating roles.
- Work in conjunction with interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and cardiologists.
- Prepare and educate patients for procedures.
- Maintain sterile techniques and prepare necessary supplies and equipment.
- Transport patients and provide comfort and privacy.
- Maintain departmental records and compliance with standards and regulations.
- Enter data accurately into the cath lab log and complete necessary paperwork.
- Maintain stock levels and clinical certifications.
- Verify patient identification and consent documentation.
- Participate in patient education, including pre and post-procedural care.
- Comply with all health system policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
