Location: Portland, OR Duration: ASAP Ongoing Schedule: 1 to 3 weeks per month, Monday-Sunday Call: Inpatient call, weeknights and weekend only Scope: Pediatric Otolaryngology onsite ED coverage, inpatient consults, and trauma call Common diagnosis/procedures: Ped ENT complications requiring drainage: Peritonsillar abscess, neck abscess, retropharyngeal abscess, mastoiditis, complicated sinus infections, Foreign body removal: esophageal and airway foreign bodies, nasal/ear foreign bodies, Airway consults: stridor in newborns, Bleeding: Post tonsillectomy bleeding, nose bleeds, Trauma: nasal fractures, penetrating oral trauma EMR: Epic Hospital: Level 1 Pediatric Trauma Center Required: Board Certified, DEA, PALS, Prefer fellowship trained in Pediatric Otolaryngologists and Oregon license, but NOT required. Open to candidates who can obtain a Oregon license and support for long term coverage and are comfortable treating pediatrics. Preference Oregon license but no required.
