Executive Recruiter - Accounting & Finance at Professional Search Group Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Accountant to join our client's finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing key accounting functions, supporting month-end close, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and improving accounting processes. The ideal candidate is hands-on, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Base pay range $90,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr Key Responsibilities Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules Ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Prepare financial statements and assist with management reporting Analyze variances and investigate discrepancies Assist with revenue recognition, accruals, and complex accounting transactions Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Operations, and other departments Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy Mentor and support junior accounting staff as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 4–7+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Experience with month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP; Power Query a plus) Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar preferred) Why Join Us Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunity to make an impact and improve processes Collaborative and supportive team environment Career growth and development opportunities Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Hospitals and Health Care #J-18808-Ljbffr
