Job Summary: Join our dedicated team in the realm of Inpatient Psychiatry for Adults. We are excited to announce the collaboration between Geisinger and Acadia Healthcare to develop two state-of-the-art behavioral health facilities in Central and Northeast Pennsylvania. Facility Locations: Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Northeast - Opened: August 2023 Geisinger Behavioral Health Center Danville - Opening: Q2 2025 As an integral part of our facilities, you will help create acute care hubs specializing in the treatment of various psychiatric conditions. Acadia serves as the facility administrator for both centers. Both facilities will be modern, standalone healthcare centers emphasizing quality and safety. Services will cater to both adult and pediatric populations, offering Partial Hospitalization Programs, Intensive Outpatient Programs, and Brain Stimulation Therapy. Common diagnoses treated will include Major Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma-Related Disorders, Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Substance Use Disorders. Initial capacity will feature 96 inpatient beds with the potential for an additional 48 beds. Each facility will span approximately 72,000 square feet. We utilize EPIC for electronic medical record documentation. The role is performed in a clinical and office environment. You will be accountable for fulfilling all job-specific obligations while adhering to organizational policies and procedures. This position is onsite only. Position Details: Education: Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required) Experience: Previous relevant experience in medical practice is essential.
