New York, Chicago, Miami, Houston, Dallas, Kansas Seniority level Associate to Director, 1–10 years of experience Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management, General Business, and Quality Assurance Key Responsibilities Lead and support the commercial insurance due diligence process for private equity transactions, managing engagements from initial review through to completion. Analyze target company insurance programs — including structure, claims history, collateral, and spend — to identify uninsured risks and coverage gaps. Work closely with internal specialists, private equity deal teams, target company leadership, and third‑party advisors to ensure a thorough and efficient diligence process. Identify and resolve transaction‑related insurance issues, collaborating with clients’ legal, financial, and operational advisors.
Support the placement and underwriting of Representations & Warranties (R&W) insurance, prepare and present detailed due diligence reports summarizing key findings and recommendations. Assist portfolio companies post‑close to align insurance programs and risk management strategies with private equity‑backed structures.
Qualifications
1–10 years of experience within a brokerage or carrier environment, preferably in a Project Manager role with insurance due diligence experience within M&A. Solid understanding of commercial insurance lines and the ability to work directly with private equity funds and other investors. #J-18808-Ljbffr
