Director of Quality – HCA Florida South Shore Hospital Overview HCA Healthcare is one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services. We are seeking a Director of Quality to lead quality and performance improvement initiatives at our community hospital located in Sun City Center, FL. Job Summary As Director of Quality Management, you will develop, implement, and sustain quality improvement programs, ensuring compliance with JCAHO, regulatory, and accreditation requirements. You will collaborate with senior management to drive patient safety and service excellence. Responsibilities Utilize and interpret data to steer improvement efforts and promote optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate with Senior Management to develop strategic quality initiatives. Lead performance efforts for JCAHO, core quality measures, and regulatory agencies. Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and accrediting requirements. Contribute to hospital-wide improvement initiatives and achieve core measure goals. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field. Current FL RN license preferred. Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) or CHCQM (or 12‑month grace period). Three to five years of experience in a healthcare environment. Previous experience in accreditation, quality, utilization management, or risk management required. Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Previous nursing or administration role preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
