Reporting to senior leadership, this role will play a critical part in driving execution, strengthening teams, and building repeatable operating systems that support long-term growth.
This leader will bring an ownership mindset , a bias toward action, and the ability to translate strategy into execution-while fostering a high-performance, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership Recruit, develop, and retain top operational talent Build a culture of accountability, trust, and continuous improvement Operational Excellence Strengthen and standardize operating processes to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability Drive on-time, on-budget project execution with a strong customer-first mindset Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner closely with sales and leadership to align execution with growth objectives Improve communication, handoffs, and accountability across teams Systems & Reporting Support the implementation and adoption of core operating systems and reporting rhythms Use data and KPIs to inform decisions and drive performance Execution & Change Management Lead cross-functional initiatives from planning through execution Champion change while maintaining operational stability and momentum Qualifications Experience leading operations in construction, project-based, or field-service environments Proven people leader with experience managing and motivating frontline teams Strong bias for action with the ability to operate in fast-paced, growth environments Ownership mentality with high standards for execution and follow-through Data-informed decision-maker with a focus on outcomes, not activity Strong communicator with the ability to influence across levels and functions High integrity, resilience, and commitment to building something meaningful Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $150,000-$160,000 , commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus tied to operational and growth outcomes Competitive benefits package and time-off flexibility Meaningful career growth and expanded responsibility based on performance Next Steps VP of Operations • St Louis, MO, United States #J-18808-Ljbffr
