Fuel your passion As a Senior Turbomachinery Engineer, you will work within Baker Hughes iCenters, monitoring and supporting a global fleet of rotating machinery, electrical equipment and related auxiliaries. You will focus on data analysis, troubleshooting, and KPI assessment – acting as the primary customer contact for technical issues both remotely from iCenter and at site. This role requires close collaboration with project and service engineering teams, vendors, and customers to ensure optimal performance and reliability. As a Senior Turbomachinery Engineer , you will be responsible for: Serving as the focal point for regional sites, managing technical issues to resolution, coordinating and communicatingбрь with customers and internal experts and other vendor organizations, fulfilling customized evaluations and optimization studies, and maintaining alignment between site and iCenters. Monitoring a diverse fleet of aeroderivative and heavy‑duty gas turbines, steam turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, VSDS, electric motors, gearboxes, auxiliaries and balance of plant. Analyzing data and alerts generated from BH Monitoring & Diagnostic (M&D) systems to prevent asset failures and optimize performance. Troubleshooting technical issues on the monitored fleet and communicating findings effectively in writing and verbally. Preparing and reviewing technical documentation such as root‑cause analyses, anomaly notifications and monthly reports. Conducting periodic technical reviews and maintaining an operating rhythm with customers. Supporting weekends and holidays on a rotational basis (with flexible compensation time and bonus). Navigating and interpreting site‑specific control software (MarkVI/VIe, MicroNet/Plus, RX3i/RX7i, Allen‑Bradley) and engineering documents (P&ID, instrument lists, wiring diagrams). Validating performance Company's calculations, identifying non‑conformities and proposing reliability improvements. Collaborating with BH Engineering teams, Project Management and vendors for root‑cause analysis and expedited issue resolution. To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited college or university. Have a minimum of 5 years of technical experience on rotating machinery. Have a knowledge of gas turbines, centrifugal and reciprocating compressors, steam turbines, electric motors and generators. Have an ability and willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed on a rotational basis. Should be legally authorized to work in the United States. Have excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills.
