Join to apply for the Staff Engineer / Ann Arbor, MI role at G2 Consulting Group, LLC G2 Consulting Group is seeking full-time staff engineers with three months to four years of demonstrated experience for its Construction Engineering Department in Ann Arbor, MI. Staff engineers perform and coordinate field inspections and investigations under the supervision of a project engineer or project manager. Responsibilities include construction observation, testing, laboratory testing, and report preparation, covering earthwork, foundation, concrete, steel, masonry, and paving inspections at job sites. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field Preferred: Engineer in Training (EIT) Three months to four years of experience in construction engineering Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent prioritization, coordination, and self-management skills Good administrative and time management skills with keen attention to detail Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and excellent driving record Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods Willingness to work outdoors and occasionally overtime, weekends, and travel for out-of-town overnight stays Responsibilities and Duties: Represent G2 professionally on construction sites Operate relevant equipment independently Manage multiple projects within budgets and deadlines Assist in laboratory testing under senior engineer/technician supervision Benefits: Company-paid health insurance, dental, and vision plans Short-term and long-term disability insurance Life insurance 401(k) plan with up to 5% matching Paid holidays, vacation, and personal time off Professional licensing and education assistance Profit sharing G2 Consulting Group is committed to equal employment opportunity, prohibiting discrimination or harassment based on protected characteristics.
