Position Summary The Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis within the organization. This role involves collaborating with various departments to gather data and provide insights that support decision-making and strategic planning. This role will also assist with various accounting tasks related to the management company. Key Responsibilities Manage financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. Create detailed financial models and performance reports to facilitate data-driven decision-making. Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency. Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure alignment of financial plans with business objectives. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics, providing insights to management on trends and variances. Prepare and present monthly financial reports to senior management. Conduct market research and comparative analysis to support strategic initiatives. Identify risks and opportunities in financial performance and present findings to senior leadership. Desired Experience & Skills 2-3 years of public accounting experience plus 1-3 years of financial planning experience with an asset management firm is preferred. Strong work ethic with ability to multitask, take initiative, manage multiple timelines, and work under tight deadlines. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and have the ability to present your views and recommendations to senior management in a concise and organized manner. Strong financial acumen and quantitative skills, excellent analytical abilities. Proficient in financial modeling and analysis, with experience using financial planning software. Must demonstrate excellent verbal/written skills, effective interpersonal skills, be self-motivated, have high intellectual curiosity, and a desire to continuously expand knowledge base. Exceptional attention to detail is required. Completion of undergraduate studies; CFA, CPA and/or MBA is a plus. Compensation Base salary range: $90,000 – $125,000. Annual discretionary bonus award eligibility based on individual, team, and company performance.
