This role supports cutting-edge robotics research by maintaining lab operations, managing robotic hardware and testbeds, and integrating AI-driven systems in a fast-paced R&D environment.location: Redmond, Washingtonjob type: Contractsalary: $86.66 - 93.42 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: BachelorsResponsibilitiesMaintain lab operations including organization, safety, and compliance. Perform maintenance on robot fleets (battery checks, sensor diagnostics, software updates). Calibrate sensors (e.g., camera, IMU, LiDAR). Support testbed setups and motion capture systems. Manage scheduling and reservations for testbeds and lab equipment. Monitor and enforce lab safety protocols. Support prototype integration (mechanical/electrical assembly, firmware flashing). Manage hardware inventory, repairs, and consumables. Provide technical support and troubleshooting during tests and experiments. Help integrate AI workloads, cloud-connected robotics systems, and simulations. Collect and manage datasets from robotic experiments. SkillsFamiliarity with robotic systems and lab safety. Basic proficiency with mechanical tools, soldering, and schematic reading. Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree in Robotics, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field. 2+ years of experience in robotics or prototyping labs.
