Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Additional compensation types Annual Bonus Lead Advisor, LLC is a wealth management focused consulting and search firm. This role is for our client, a wealth management firm/ RIA in New York who is growing their TAX division. This role is ONSITE. Candidates must have 5 years of experience and at least an ENROLLED AGENT designation. Responsibilities Provide tax planning, compliance, and advisory services to high net-worth and Family Office clients Review and file a variety of tax returns—including but not limited to Forms 1040, 1041, 1065, and 1120‑S—ensuring accuracy and timely submission to the appropriate tax authorities Signer of tax returns where deemed appropriate by Tax Directors Participate in client meetings to address tax related inquiries and provide strategic recommendations, with support from senior tax leadership as needed Collaborate with advisors and internal teams to ensure comprehensive compliance with federal and state tax regulations • Identify tax planning opportunities and assist in implementing strategies under the direction of senior team members Conduct research on complex federal and state tax issues and prepare clear, well documented responses to client questions Provide limited mentoring and guidance to junior staff on tax engagements Continue to sharpen technical tax skills through ongoing learning and exposure to complex tax matters Qualifications Minimum of 5 years experience in a public accounting firm or an RIA, serving in a Tax Senior Associate/Senior Accountant or Tax Manager position Requires at least an EA designation, with an Active CPA or JD certification preferred Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or related fields. Exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of the tax issues facing individuals while also having knowledge of S‑corps, Trusts, Partnerships, and Non‑profits Detail‑oriented, possess excellent time management and prioritization skills Experience with CCH Axcess, CCH Workflow, Holistiplan (preferred) Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting/Auditing #J-18808-Ljbffr
