Job Details:

  • Pay: $ (to be updated)

  • Occupational Therapist

  • Position Open: 2

  • Duration: 13 weeks

  • Shift Info: Day 

  • Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week

  • Provides full-time, quality outpatient and inpatient occupational therapy care

  • Treats all patient age ranges and diagnoses within the State of Alaskas occupational therapy scope of practice

  • Hospital based: Standard Occupational Therapy Department environment includes hi-lo table, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound and electric stimulation modalities, ADL training room (includes bathroom and kitchen)

  • Village-based: Usually a treatment table is provided. Therapist brings out what is needed for patient care (theraband, exercise programs, etc.)

  • For Travelers: Private Housing is not provided. All housing units are shared units

  • Initial Airfare  will be "reimbursed" upon arrival

 

Requirements:

  • Active Unrestricted AK OT License or have a good-standing license of Occupational Therapy in another state and awaiting licensure in Alaska

  • Active BLS via American Heart Association

  • Active National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

  • Years of Experience REQ: 1 YR - preferred but not required

  • Must be able to provide at least 1 supervisory references
