We are partnered with a growing hospitality company in Miami that is looking for a Staff Accountant . They are an outstanding business that is growing at a strong rate. This is an excellent opportunity for junior-level candidates to grow organically within an organization and be exposed to a range of functions as they develop. Salary/Hourly Rate: $65k - $73k Position Overview The Staff Accountant will report directly to the Accounting Manager and will be responsible for day-to-day accounting activities. There is also an opportunity to be exposed to some financial planning and analysis when working so closely with the company's Manager. Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant General accounting duties. Assist with month-end closing and year-end closing as needed. Financial statement preparation. Review general ledger accounts and prepare and adjust journal entries. Assist with billing, invoicing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. The Staff Accountant will perform account analysis and reconciliation, including bank statements Post monthly, quarterly, and yearly accruals. Required Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting. The Staff Accountant must possess extremely strong mathematical and analytical skills. Preferred Experience/Skills for the Staff Accountant Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
