5 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Title: Senior Project Engineer – Control Systems (Offshore & Subsea) Location: The Woodlands, hybrid 9/80 schedule with 3 days in office Employment Type: Full-Time, W-2 Position Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Engineer with a strong background in control systems and automation for offshore and subsea environments. This role is responsible for managing engineering contractors and third-party integrators, ensuring projects are executed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with brownfield upgrades and downstream automation projects. Responsibilities Lead control system projects, including brownfield upgrades and automation in downstream operations. Interface with third-party integrators and engineering contractors. Review designs, installations, and commissioning activities for compliance with specifications. Maintain project documentation and provide regular status updates. Provide technical guidance and oversight to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Process Controls, or Controls Engineering. 10+ years’ experience in control systems, automation, and downstream operations. Experience collaborating with engineering contractors or third-party integrators. Knowledge of brownfield upgrades, system commissioning, and project execution. Strong problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills. Preferred Offshore or subsea control system experience. Travel is not expected.
