Ensure exceptional customer experiences through the application of the Five Below service model that empowers your crew to say yes to customers. Anticipate the needs of the customer and create an amazing store environment. Lead execution and maintenance of all company merchandising and operational standards ensuring consistency with Brand Standards. Develop a High Performing Crew Hire and engage talented employees, ensuring the right people are in the right roles at the right time. Foster a culture that values inclusion and diversity and ensures people feel cared for and connected. Inspire accountability through training, coaching, and consistent feedback. Present facts clearly, coach effectively, and actively listen to inspire trust and respect of direct reports. Partner with the District Manager and Human Resources for employee coaching / counseling, performance documentation, and employee relations matters. Maintain a safe environment for customers and crew. Execute a talent plan that makes Five Below an employer of choice, attracts quality candidates, and retains top talent. Foster career growth through individual development planning and performance coaching. Build a peer network internally and externally to strengthen recruitment and succession planning for the store. Drive a Consistent Business Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly business results; pursue ways to drive greater performance of direct reports using sales, customer experience, profitability, shrink, payroll, and staffing metrics. Balance competing priorities with a focus on what is critical. Develop and manage payroll budgets and crew schedules that balance financial responsibility with customer expectations and crew availability. Ensure proper execution of all financial management controls, critical controls, and adherence to company policies. Oversee successful receiving and ensure stocking procedures are properly followed and maintained. Execute physical inventory and ensure compliance with company data integrity processes. Assure merchandise flow meets company standards and closely monitor sell-through. Perform store maintenance, including but not limited to removing garbage, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room. Ensure compliance with all Five Below Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Review all corporate communications and prioritize/plans accordingly. Achieve results without compromising quality or integrity of work, adhering to the company handbook, policies, and applicable laws. Perform other duties as assigned, including services. Minimum 3 years of management experience preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task. Creative thinking. Ability to maintain composure under pressure.
