Role and Responsibilities The Firmware Team is looking for a software engineer to migrate a Python service from version 2 to version 3 of Python for configuration control of our industry-leading Computed Tomography (CT) Scanners. In addition, this engineer must integrate the DDS communication methods from a C++ library into this Python service. The engineer will work with and take direction from the Lead/Senior Firmware Engineers for this project. Activities will include: Implementation and execution of automated tests in our Python-based automated test framework Work with existing C++ DDS communication libraries and utilize Python bindings to integrate multithreaded callback behavior in the Python service Required Qualifications Experience with software configuration management and build tools: ClearCase, Git, Jenkins Experience with Linux/SLES 15 environments Experience with C/C++, Python programming Preferred Qualifications Experience with unit testing, verification testing and automated test management Experience with VxWorks Experience with real time development Experience with networks (TCP/IP, UDP) Experience with HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Experience with Rally and working in an Agile planning and execution environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
