Draughtsperson

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Draughtsman to join our client's team on a full-time basis. This role involves preparing detailed technical drawings and plans based on specifications provided by architects, engineers, and project managers. The ideal candidate is proficient in drafting software, has a strong eye for precision, and can effectively interpret and translate design concepts into accurate and clear technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed technical drawings, layouts, and blueprints for various projects.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand design requirements and incorporate necessary details.
• Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality, accurate plans for structural, architectural, and mechanical components.
• Revise and update drawings to reflect changes in design and specifications, ensuring all revisions are documented.
• Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, building codes, and project requirements.
• Assist with estimating materials, dimensions, and costs based on project specifications.
• Conduct site visits as needed to gather information and incorporate real-world data into plans.
• Maintain an organized database of drawings and ensure that all documentation is stored and easily accessible.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or certification in Drafting, CAD, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Draughtsman, preferably within the construction or architectural industry.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit) and other relevant drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction materials, and industry standards.
• Excellent attention to detail, spatial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively.
