Roles & Responsibilities Perform design and development of complex high‑speed digital circuit card assemblies integrating FPGAs and microprocessors through high‑speed serial networks. Take designs from concept through schematic capture, layout, assembly, debug, and production test. Collaborate with peers and other engineering disciplines in the planning, design, and prototyping of complex digital systems. Identify and implement risk reduction activities for your projects. Interface with vendors and contractors. Advise others through design reviews and implementation of industry best practices. Work under general direction to independently determine and develop viable solutions. Define system and CCA‑level specifications from dynamic, loose requirements. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience, a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience, or a PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience. Full custom circuit card design cycle (concept through production) experience involving FPGAs, DDR memory, high‑speed serdes, and microprocessors. Experience defining interfaces with software teams for microprocessors/microcontrollers. Hands‑on use of laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, function generators, DMM, BERT scopes, network analyzers, and signal analyzers. Ability to solder and modify prototypes to prove a working design. Ability to create test plans and assembly instructions. Strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills. Candidate must be a US Citizen. Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain the necessary level of US Government security clearance per customer requirements. Preferred Qualifications Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Schematic capture and layout using Mentor Graphics Xpedition tools. High‑speed digital signal integrity simulation using Hyperlynx, HFSS, or ADS. Experience developing embedded software and software using C, C++. Experience RTL development using SystemVerilog. Familiarity with AMD FPGAs and design tools. Project leadership. Salary & Benefits Primary Level Salary Range: $100,300.00 - $150,500.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $124,900.00 - $187,300.00. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives.
