Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Forth Worth, TX Join a leading OB/GYN Hospitalist team in Fort Worth, TX, and make a meaningful difference in women's healthcare. As a vital part of North Fort Worth's healthcare system, you'll serve a diverse and vibrant community, providing essential obstetric and gynecologic services across various shifts.Required Skills: Active Texas medical license or eligibility Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology Proven experience in inpatient obstetric care, triage, and emergency interventions Competence in attending deliveries, including Cesarean sections Ability to manage OB triage, admissions, and inpatient care efficiently Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills Capable of working independently in high-pressure situations Nice to Have Skills: Experience with hospitalist programs or perinatal units Knowledge of the latest health informatics systems Bilingual abilities to serve diverse patient populations Familiarity with surgical procedures related to obstetrics Preferred Education and Experience: Medical degree (MD or DO) Minimum of 2 years of relevant OB/GYN hospitalist experience Current ACLS and NRP certifications Prior experience covering 24-hour shifts or similar schedule Other Requirements: Availability to work varied, scheduled shifts, including 24-hour coverage Willingness to credential and work specific dates as outlined Flexibility to cover upcoming open dates, including holidays and weekends Must be comfortable with emergency response protocols in labor and delivery settings This is a compelling chance to enhance your professional portfolio while enjoying the community atmosphere and cultural richness of Fort Worth.
