**Experience:** Minimum 2 years of Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience
**License:** Active Compact RN License
**Certifications:**
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) only
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association (AHA) only
**Must-Have:**
- Experience assisting with anesthesia
- Willingness to assist with anesthesia after training
- Ability to circulate all open chest cases
**Job Description:**
- Perform all general duties required in an operating room setting, with specialization in cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist in placing lines such as Swan-Ganz catheter, arterial line, and handling Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE), as well as managing laboratory duties.
- Work with EPIC charting, I-Stat, TEE, and warming/cooling units.
- Participate in a call schedule including weekday/night and full weekend calls as required.
- Provide assistance during anesthesia processes after completion of facility-provided training.
- Be prepared to float to general, orthopedic, or neuro units if needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to dress code with specific guidelines including covering cloth caps and bouffant, and restrictions on jewelry and nail polish.
- Participate in unit-specific training and orientation program, which includes 2-3 days in the operating room and 1-2 days before independent practice.
