Please ask about our generous referral fees Hospital-Employed Permanent Position Premier Coastal Florida LocationJoin a leading Critical Care Medicine team at a CMS 5-star tertiary hospital located on Florida's beautiful southeast coast. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP)-either an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP) or Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C)-to deliver exceptional inpatient cardiac and critical care in a progressive, team-oriented environment.Clinical Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to adult patients in the cardiovascular and intensive care units.Manage post-operative cardiac surgery patients, including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, and those requiring mechanical circulatory support (ECMO/Impella).Perform advanced assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop individualized treatment plans for critically ill patients.Collaborate closely with cardiothoracic surgeons, intensivists, hospitalists, and the multidisciplinary care team.Perform procedures such as central and arterial line placements, intubations, dialysis line insertions, and other bedside interventions (as credentialed).Utilize Epic EMR and state-of-the-art ICU technology to deliver evidence-based, efficient care.Schedule & Setting 7-on / 7-off schedule - Day shifts only (6 AM - 6 PM).Stable, hospital-employed position in a respected tertiary care facility.Supportive environment with a collaborative approach to patient care.Candidate Requirements Master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C).Current Florida license (or ability to obtain).National board certification (ACNP preferred for Nurse Practitioners).Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in CVICU, cardiothoracic surgery, or critical care preferred; strong ICU background considered.Current ACLS and BLS certifications.Hands-on experience with advanced ICU procedures, including:Central and arterial linesPulmonary artery (PA) cathetersImpella repositioningIntubationChest tube insertionComplex Foley catheter placementPoint-of-care transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)Intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) managementWhy This Opportunity? 360+ bed tertiary center Supportive hospital culture and collaborative teamLifestyle & Location Minutes from the beach in a family-friendly communityAbundant outdoor activities, parks, and attractionsNo state income taxIdeal for water sports and year-round recreationConvenient access to major airportsExcellent public and private schools1 hour from Orlando and St. Augustine, 3 hours from Tampa, 4.5 hours from MiamiRecruitWell's Core Values: Open communicationSense of urgencyTeamworkAccountabilityDriven to winHigher consciousness
