Operating with minimal supervision, the role involves independent work, oversight of project portfolios, and awareness of industry trends and customer needs. The engineer engages in high-level customer interactions, provides technical evaluations of new opportunities within the PLC process, and participates in enterprise negotiations.**Key Responsibilities:*** System Design and Architecture: Develops and implements comprehensive system architectures, ensuring scalability and integration with existing technologies.* Technical Problem Solving: Identifies and resolves complex technical issues by analyzing multiple data sources and applying innovative solutions.* Project Leadership: Leads and manages system engineering projects, coordinating with cross functional teams to achieve project goals within deadlines.* Mentorship and Support: Provides guidance and technical expertise to junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.* Performance Optimization: Monitors and enhances system performance and reliability, implementing best practices and continuous improvements.**Key Skills:*** Systems Engineering: Expertise in designing and managing complex systems architectures.* Advanced Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve intricate technical issues effectively.* Project Leadership: Skilled in leading and coordinating projects from initiation to successful completion.* Cross Functional Collaboration: Proficiency in working seamlessly with multiple teams and departments.* Technical Expertise: In depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry best practices.* Analytical Thinking: Competent in analyzing diverse data sources to inform strategic decisions.* Effective Communication: Ability to convey complex information clearly and build consensus among stakeholders.* Strategic Planning: Understanding of market dynamics and integration of best practices into system designs.* Autonomous Work Style: Capability to work independently with minimal supervision.* Mentorship and Guidance: Acts as a resource and mentor to less experienced colleagues.**Successful candidates have:*** Bachelor’s degree in sciences (BS) in relevant field AND 4+ years’ experience* Provides leadership of system and subsystem technical scope defined above and takes a lead role with engineers, designers and techniciansThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
