Overview Tikehau Star Infra (“TSI”), a subsidiary of Tikehau Capital, a global alternative asset management group, is seeking a dynamic and experienced project manager to oversee and execute a variety of projects associated with TSI’s current role to redevelop the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport in St. Croix under a collaborative Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain Public-Private Partnership model with the U.S. Virgin Islands Port Authority (“VIPA”). The Senior Project Manager will report to the Technical Director and work closely with a number of stakeholders including VIPA, TSI’s development partner Aecon Group Inc., and a number of experienced airport consultants. It is an outstanding opportunity to be exposed to broad and deep airport expertise (commercial aspects with airlines and other stakeholders, existing condition assessment, design & construction, operations and maintenance, regulatory aspects, environmental permitting, human relations, community engagement, insurance, financing, etc). Responsibilities The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong ability to multitask, and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. Airport experience is required, preferably of technical nature. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for guiding project staff and third-party consultants engaged on behalf of the joint venture to oversee the redevelopment of the Henry E. Rohlsen airport, interfacing with main contractors and subcontractors, managing resources, and ensuring that project goals align with organizational objectives. This role requires excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. The first six to twelve months will be focused on the technical development, design, and construction aspects of the airport project. The following phase, which is expected to last 3-4 years, will be focused on executing the technical design and construction elements in an active construction and operating environment of the airport. Effective coordination with the ORAT team, airport tenants, and the construction teams is essential to the success of the transition program from the existing terminal into the remodeled terminal. The Senior Project Manager will be trusted as the island’s SkyCity representative to manage 3rd party technical resources, foster collaboration, identify and mitigate risks, ensure quality, and maintain schedules and budgets for the terminal modifications. Qualifications Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field (Master's degree preferred). Ten years of proven experience as a project manager for airport and civil infrastructure projects, with a successful track record of managing projects from initiation to completion. Experience working on airport projects is required. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in project management tools and software. Certification in Project Management (PMP) is a plus.
