Kansas City Orthopaedic Institute (KCOI) is a single specialty orthopedic hospital. We are physician owned, with 17 IPU beds and 8 state-of-the-art surgical suites. We have been serving the Kansas City area for over 20 years.

Our Urgent Care is a large part of the daily operations at the Hospital. Urgent Care is open Mondays through Fridays, 8:00am to 7:00pm; Saturday and Sunday 10:00am to 4:00pm. Our Urgent Care RN’s work 12-hour shifts.

We are seeking a *PRN-RN* who is looking to make extra money and work when you want We have a dynamic and unique working environment with a 100% orthopedic case load. RN’s in this role work autonomously alongside an all-RN staff.

*Job Function:*

Our Urgent Care RN’s provide professional nursing care for our clinic and collaborate with the physicians to ensure patient care is at its highest level. They assist physicians and staff with coordinating patient care. They serve as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and physicians. Urgent Care RN’s are responsible for patient and family education, keeping the unit clean and stocked, and electronic charting in the patients’ medical record.
* 3 years of Ortho experience with either ER or UC
* Experience working in an ICU, ER, or PACU setting
* Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kansas
* BLS required, ACLS preferred

Pay: $43.00 per hour
