**Job Description:**
- Perform duties as a CVOR RN, covering cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery cases.
- Manage and assist in procedures including but not limited to Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Mitral valve replacement, open heart surgery, and more.
- Circulate and scrub in heart and vascular cases, with a specific focus on circulating for structural heart cases.
- Participate in call schedules, which include Friday night, Saturday, and Sunday shifts, as well as weekday calls.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed.
- Flu vaccination is mandatory for all employees.
- Participate in a comprehensive orientation program totaling 28 hours.
- Complete modules, with an average of 12 hours on related modules pre-start and possibly during orientation.
- Scrubs will be provided.
- Must possess or obtain necessary state licensure prior to employment.
This position involves working with Cerner for charting and requires employees to adhere to vaccination and compliance requirements as detailed by the facility. The applicant should be flexible with scheduling and assignment location based on internal policies and unit needs.
