Predictable Schedule with Flexibility:Maintain a structured schedule with standard daytime hours, Monday-Thursday (negotiable for 4 or 5 days per week), with 8 dedicated hours for patient visits and 2 additional hours for administrative tasks and documentation. Supportive Work Environment: Work alongside a dedicated healthcare team in a collaborative setting with access to Epic, the electronic medical records system used at the facility. Travel and Lodging Assistance: We understand the importance of relocation support and are happy to assist with travel and lodging arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history, physical examination, and review of medical records. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for adult and geriatric patients with a variety of medical conditions. Order and interpret diagnostic tests as needed. Provide ongoing patient education and support to manage chronic conditions and promote preventive care. Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and referring physicians, to ensure seamless patient care. Document patient care accurately and efficiently within the EPIC electronic medical records system. Qualifications for Success: Current board certification in Internal Medicine is mandatory. Valid and active medical license in the state of California is required. We are not seeking willingness to relocate or obtain additional licensure at this time. Experience using EPIC, the electronic medical records system used at the facility, is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, colleagues, and staff. The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment is crucial.
