SUMMARY OF JOB:

The Surgical Technician, under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, participates as a member of the surgical team in planning, preparing, and implementing an aseptic and safe environment for patients and other health team members.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of an accredited Operating Room Technician program
  • CPR certification
  • One to two years as an OR Technician in an operating room setting; surgery center experience preferred.
