Perform as Manager-on-Duty during scheduled shifts when the Store Ops Manager (GM) is not present. Supervise, train, and coach 2-5 team members engaged in cookie sales and customer deliveries. Lead onboarding and initial training for new hourly staff. Conduct initial interviews for potential new hires (Cookie Crew, Shift Leaders, and Delivery Drivers) in the manager's absence. Support Store Ops Manager with ordering, inventory control, and scheduling. Ensure staff adherence to Insomnia Cookies' standards (baking, uniform, policies, etc.). Drive upselling and ensure overall customer service excellence, including team member performance. Desired skills/experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a restaurant or retail store Experience conducting in-person interviews for hourly support staff Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems Proficiency with MS Office, Word, and Applicant Tracking Systems Availability to work 4-5 days per week, including 1-2 mid-to-late shifts (Thurs-Sun) Must be 18 years or older and legally eligible to work in the U.S. About us: Insomnia Cookies was founded in a college dorm by Seth Berkowitz.
