Join Our Neonatology Team as a Nurse Practitioner in Fort Myers, FL We are seeking a new graduate or an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to become a vital part of our dedicated team at a state-of-the-art facility located in Fort Myers, Florida. Our practice is situated at Golisano Children's Hospital, offering a 70-bed, Level-III NICU and associated services within a robust healthcare system that sees approximately 7,000 deliveries annually. Job Responsibilities: Provide attending coverage at our Level-III NICU Utilize subspecialty services (excluding cardiovascular surgery and ECMO) for high-risk delivery service coverage Perform in-house call shifts and 24-hour NNP coverage Administer Level-I coverage, including well baby care Collaborate with a team of ten neonatologists and ten NNPs Foster a family-centered care environment in a developmentally sensitive unit Engage in a culture of lifelong learning and professional growth Participate in a robust quality improvement program, with opportunities for clinical research Qualifications: Master's Degree (minimum) and/or Doctorate in Nursing NNP - Board Certified (FNP, PNP, or any other NP certifications are not accepted) 2+ years of experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Active Florida License (or willingness to obtain) Current NPDB Self Query Report (active within the last 30 days) Must be eligible for visa support (J1 or H1B) DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start) License and Certification Requirements: Master's Degree or Doctorate in Nursing NNP Board Certification is required Active Florida License (or willing to obtain) DEA must be obtained prior to start date Discover the Charm of Fort Myers, FL Known for its beautiful beaches, vibrant arts scene, and excellent weather year-round, Fort Myers offers a remarkable coastal lifestyle with plenty of activities for both relaxation and adventure.
