This role ensures compliance with quality standards, policies, and regulations while fostering a collaborative, efficient, and resident-centered care environment. The ideal candidate is a compassionate RN who has developed strong managerial and administrative skills and is known for being efficient, dedicated, a great listener, and a confident problem-solver. Key Responsibilities Direct, oversee, and evaluate all nursing personnel (RN, LPN, etc.) Guide staffing procedures and scheduling Set objectives and long-term goals for the nursing department Organize and coordinate admissions, nursing services, and patient care procedures Develop and enforce policies to ensure legal compliance and high-quality care Identify and resolve operational issues and deficiencies Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to streamline operations Report to upper management on nursing performance and outcomes Qualifications & Requirements Active RN license required Proven experience as a Director of Nursing preferred Long-term care experience required Valid CPR certification Degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred Knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and best practices Excellent leadership, communication, and people skills Strong organizational and problem-solving skills If you’re the RN everyone already trusts and you’re ready to lead an entire nursing team, we’d love to meet you.
