Overview Assistant Project Manager: Hansen Construction is seeking detail oriented, hardworking individuals that understand the importance of creating and maintaining a positive work environment. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team atmosphere are critical. This is a skilled position requiring a strong work ethic and the ability to fully manage and coordinate high-end residential construction projects from bidding through completion.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive knowledge in quantity takeoffs, estimating and budgeting. Ability to read and understand plans and specifications. Process day-to-day administrative items (i.e., RFI’s, submittals, shop drawings, procurement, quantity take-offs, etc.). Compose and edit letters, memos, reports, and procedures.

Identify potential problems, work interferences and schedule difficulties. Change management. Tracking time and material work. Attending owner/contractor/architect/engineer meetings on a regular basis.

Coordination with design team and consultants. Client relations. Elimination of obstacles that prevent progress in the field.

Qualifications

High school degree or equivalent. Construction Management Degree or equivalent field experience preferred. 2+ years of experience in construction and/or business. Familiarity with other construction trades and crafts. Excellent Microsoft Office skills and an ability/desire to learn new software systems.

Strong leadership and supervisory skills. Strong oral and written communication skills. Procore, On Screen Take-Off, Bluebeam Software experience is preferred. Must be courteous, professional, diplomatic, and highly motivated. #J-18808-Ljbffr
