Job Description:
- Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive and communication abilities, and reduce risks of aspiration.
- Create communication treatment plans that aid in understanding and being understood.
- Lead and direct the delivery of speech-language pathology and audiology services, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Ensure services align with facility policies to provide appropriate care to residents.
- Possess a strong knowledge of laws, regulations, and guidelines related to long-term care.
- Demonstrate leadership abilities in guiding speech-language pathology services within the facility.
- Adhere to a casual professional dress code; scrubs are acceptable.
