Assistant Store Manager Rooms To Go, a rapidly growing furniture retailer with over 9,500 employees and 250+ locations, is looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help customers create their dream living space. This full‑time role offers competitive salary and benefits that exceed industry standards. What You’ll Be Doing Oversee daily showroom operations, including sales, customer service, and maintenance. Hire, mentor and train a team of commissioned sales associates to improve customer experience and sales profitability. Ensure customers receive superior service and are satisfied with their purchases and deliveries. Develop and implement individual and team goals to maximize sales performance. Coach sales consultants to set realistic monthly goals and provide ongoing support. Maintain a clean, inviting and well‑presented showroom. Participate in the sales process to enhance customer experience and train associates. Promote positive morale among staff. What We’re Looking For Strong mentoring, coaching, and development skills to motivate teams. Minimum 2 years of retail sales management experience, preferably in the furniture industry with commissioned sales associates. Excellent verbal and written communication; fluency in English and Spanish preferred. Proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability and willingness to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Drive to succeed in a sales‑driven environment.
