Locum Tenens Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician Needed Near Glidden, WI (j- ) Are you a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity in a welcoming community near Glidden, WI? This locum tenens position offers the chance to: Provide comprehensive primary care to adult patients in a busy outpatient setting. Utilize your expertise in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with minimal pediatrics (onsite pediatrics department available). Enjoy a flexible schedule with a combination of scheduled clinic hours and optional call coverage (phone calls only, no in-person call required). Contribute to a team environment within a facility utilizing the Cerner EMR system. Key Responsibilities: Conduct patient consultations, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans. Perform preventive care procedures and manage chronic conditions. Collaborate effectively with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Maintain a high standard of patient care and communication. Qualifications: Board-eligible or board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine. Active medical license in good standing (no specific state requirement listed). BLS certification required. Experience working in an outpatient primary care setting preferred. Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
