What You’ll Do Lead development of new trailer tow hardware, software, and systems, including packaging into the vehicle environment Conduct design reviews with internal teams, suppliers, and cross‑functional stakeholders Create and review quality documentation and ensure compliance with FMVSS and other regulatory requirements Develop and execute Design Verification Plans (DVP) across bench, HIL, and vehicle testing, tracking status via FEDE and JIRA Manage parts release processes in WERS and support programs through launch by leading issue resolution Collaborate with IVI, body exterior, and Vehicle Operations teams to ensure assembly and process requirements are met Travel to supplier facilities and assembly plants as needed to support design reviews, launches, APQP, and PPAP approvals Support warranty analysis and quality improvement initiatives by reviewing parts, tracking data, and presenting findings to management Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, and vehicle network software for design, validation, and analysis What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s preferred Minimum 2 years of experience in automotive electrical systems design, hardware, software, and systems testing Experience with vehicle network tools, such as CANalyzer Strong understanding of product design, design release processes, process validation, and embedded systems integration Experience with trailer tow control development and testing is a plus Proven ability to work in a hybrid environment and collaborate with cross‑functional teams Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills Ready to Take Your Engineering Career Further?
