Locum - Physician - Hospitalist - OB Forth Worth, TXJoin Our Dynamic OB/GYN Hospitalist Team in Fort WorthWe are seeking dedicated and experienced OB/GYN Hospitalists to provide vital inpatient care on a per diem basis across varied shifts. This opportunity offers flexibility, competitive compensation, and a chance to make a meaningful impact on women's health within a thriving community.OverviewAs an OB/GYN Hospitalist with Pediatrix Medical Group, you will be an essential part of a well-established program at Texas Health Harris Methodist Alliance Hospital. Serving over 50,000 patients annually, this role involves managing OB triage, admissions, deliveries, inpatient care, and emergency consultations. The position offers flexible scheduling with shifts ranging from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., overnight, and 24-hour coverage, allowing you to balance work and personal goals while contributing to a reputable healthcare community. Fort Worth's vibrant community, cultural richness, and affordable living make it an ideal location for professional growth and personal fulfillment.Required SkillsValid medical license to practice in Texas Board-certified or eligible in OB/GYN Proven experience in obstetric care, including delivery attendance and inpatient management Proficiency in OB triage, emergent OB/GYN response, and cesarean sections Excellent clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to varied shift hours and emergency situations Nice to Have SkillsExperience with high-risk pregnancies Proficiency with digital health records and health information technology Previous work in hospitalist or OB/GYN inpatient settings Bilingual skills or additional language proficiency Preferred Education and ExperienceMD or DO degree from an accredited institution Successful completion of residency in OB/GYN Minimum of 2 years of hospital-based OB/GYN practice experience preferred Other RequirementsAvailability for specific dates listed, with flexibility for credentialing additional providers Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Ability to work on short notice and during holidays, with shifts scheduled in advance Must be willing to undergo credentialing and compliance procedures This is a compelling opportunity to advance your career while enjoying the exceptional quality of life Fort Worth offers.
