General Accountabilities: Receives and verifies written prescriptions or refill request for accuracy. Mixes pharmaceutical preparations according to written prescriptions. Maintains proper storage and ensures necessary security of drugs. Establishes and maintains patient profiles. Answers telephones to discuss or answer patient request or questions. Assists patients at the pharmacy by answering simple questions, locating items or referring them to the pharmacist for medication information. Prices and then files prescriptions that have been filled. Receives and stores incoming drug or other related pharmacy supplies. Verifies invoices and physical quantities received of incoming items. Monitors medications in the pharmaceutical inventory to keep medications in stock medications current and disposes of outdated medications. *The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Job Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1-2 years related experience/ Willing to train. Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication Critical thinking, Monitoring Service orientation
