Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals in need of care.

Duties:
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
- Administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or healthcare professional
- Assist in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for patients
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain knowledge of infectious diseases care
- Document patient information accurately in medical records using eClinicalWorks or similar software
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals

*Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) needed for Corrections*

Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an CNA to fill an opening located in San Luis Obispo, CA for $37/hr (taxed + non-taxed)
* 28 weeks
* 7:30a-5:30p (Tues-Fri)
* 40 hrs wk= $1480 gross/wk
* 2 week orientation

*Requirements:*
* Minimum of 1 year exp
* BLS AHA

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temporary, Travel nursing

Pay: $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
