Overview Garavel Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram is seeking motivated and skilled Automotive Service Technicians to join our team. Our Service Department is high volume, full of collaboration, surrounded by cutting-edge technology, and a fun place to work. Garavel CJDR, located in Norwalk, CT, has been your family Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Ram dealership since 2002. We are Connecticut's highest-volume Jeep dealership and Dealer Rater of the Year 11 years in a row At Garavel, we hire for attitude, and we train for skills. Base pay range $60,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr This range is provided by Garavel Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. We offer 3 different schedule options. 7 am - 4 pm 8 am - 5 pm 9 am - 6 pm Automotive Technician-Specific Benefits Competitive Pay with regular performance reviews Climate Controlled shop Laptop computer provided Uniforms and Tool Box Provided Brand new clean facility with cutting-edge technology Apprentice / Mentor Training Program and visible career path ASE and state inspection certification reimbursement Essential Functions Perform maintenance services with efficiency and per manufacturer and dealership standards Diagnose, maintain and repair vehicle automotive systems Detailed written communication on RO's Test drive vehicles and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Must Haves Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician Hold a valid driver’s license and clean driving record Strong computer and technical skills is a must Must have own set of tools (we provide the toolbox and special tools) Fixing the job right the first time Extraordinary customer service skills Motivated and driven Grit Team oriented Good attitude Physical Demands Ability to frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and move up to 100 pounds Ability to move in and out of vehicles frequently Prolonged periods of standing, stooping and bending Equal Opportunity Garavel Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is an equal-opportunity employer.
