Summary: Responsible for the strategic implementation and execution of the Automotive Industry Segment strategy and the achievement of defined objectives. Key Accountabilities Co‑develop national strategy for specific targeted Industry Segment customers Manage, coach and motivate the team (Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, National Key Account Managers) in IS‑related knowledge, defining priorities in line with company processes and corporate strategy Achieve defined objectives (turnover, contribution margin, etc.) by establishing necessary measures and monitoring results Contribute to the preparation and implementation of marketing strategies for the Automotive Industry Segment Manage pricing and customer conditions in line with company policies Assign target customers to Sales Engineers, IS Specialists, and National Key Account Managers Support Sales Manager and Management by providing market inputs and information Collect product requirements of the Automotive Industry Segment as an input for product development Support and promote personal development related to the career path of Sales Engineers and National Key Account Managers Experience / Education Preferred Technical degree, master's or similar preferable in business engineering, mechanical, electrical, electronic engineering or mechatronics 5 years’ experience in outside or inside sales environment or equivalent combination of education and experience Knowledge of customer and market structure of the automotive Industry Segment Excellent oral, written communication and presentation skills Ability to work within a matrix management organization Significant experience in Sales Engineer (industrial), National Key Account Manager, IS Specialist roles At least 3 years of management experience Fluent in English Skills in MS Office, CRM tools, SharePoint required Benefits Festo Corporation offers a robust benefits package designed to help employees and their dependents stay healthy, secure and maintain a work/life balance.
