WHAT YOU WILL DO: As the Regional Lead AV Commissioning Engineer , you will play a pivotal role in driving the success of AV commissioning across multiple regions. Reporting directly to the Global Commissioning Lead, you will lead a high-performing team of AV Commissioning Engineers, ensuring flawless execution of AV solutions for some of the most dynamic and complex environments worldwide. This is a leadership position that blends technical mastery, strategic oversight, and client engagement . You will set standards, mentor talent, and champion best practices while ensuring every project meets EOS’s uncompromising quality benchmarks. Please note: This role requires 60%–70% travel across regions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a regional team of AV Commissioning Engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Operational Oversight: Direct daily commissioning activities across multiple sites, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to timelines. Resource Management: Coordinate resource allocation, scheduling, and task assignments to meet project milestones efficiently. Technical Validation: Review AV system designs for feasibility, compliance, and alignment with client requirements. Quality Assurance: Conduct rigorous testing and validation to guarantee AV systems meet the highest performance standards. Client Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact during commissioning phases, delivering exceptional customer experience. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, design engineers, and programmers to ensure seamless project delivery. Process Optimization: Develop and implement commissioning best practices, workflows, and documentation standards. Technical Expertise: Provide advanced troubleshooting and guidance during complex commissioning tasks. Risk Management: Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement proactive mitigation strategies. Knowledge Sharing: Facilitate training sessions and promote knowledge transfer within the commissioning team. Strategic Contribution: Support long-term planning and innovation within the AV commissioning function. ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Audio Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. Proven experience as an AV Commissioning Engineer or similar leadership role. Strong understanding of AV technologies including audio processors, video codecs, displays, and control systems. Familiarity with AV protocols such as HDMI, HDBaseT, Dante, and AES67. Proficiency in AV system calibration and audio optimization. Hands‑on experience with AV testing equipment and measurement tools. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team interaction. Detail‑oriented with a commitment to delivering high‑quality outcomes. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast‑paced environments. Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and deadlines. Professional demeanor and customer‑focused approach. Willingness to travel extensively as required. DESIRABLE CRITERIA: Industry certifications such as CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) or equivalent. Knowledge of AV control programming languages (e.g., Crestron, Extron). The EOS pay range for this job is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
