- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Successful completion of a rhythm test
**Must-Have:**
- Commitment to patient care
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities
**Job Description:**
- Provide care to a diverse patient population in a step-down/intermediate care unit.
- Manage patients requiring continuous Bipap, low-dose vasopressors, and trauma treatment.
- Care for patients with conditions such as lumbar drains, hyponatremia, and hyperkalemia.
- Support emergency dialysis patients and those with antifreeze ingestion.
- Manage care for patients with home ventilators (trachs) and those needing sheath removal, CEA, or treatment for rhabdo.
- Administer Fentanyl drips and care for stroke patients requiring Q2 neuro checks.
- Oversee stable craniotomies and patients on Precedex.
- Serve young adults to late adults (ages 18-60+).
- Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3.
- Collaborate with a team of RNs, LPNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Nurse Interns.
- Take full responsibility for patients on the assigned team.
