Accountant – Santa Barbara, CA – Full-Time Your Part‑Time Controller, LLC is a national leader in outsourced accounting services to nonprofit organizations. Responsibilities Process accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll on a weekly and monthly basis. Perform bank account and balance‑sheet reconciliations. Prepare monthly financial statements and related analysis. Track and monitor grants. Monitor cash flow and provide projections. Assist with outside audit preparation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required). Minimum 3 years of related public accounting and/or industry experience; 5+ years preferred. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude. Knowledge of multiple accounting software packages; QuickBooks experience is a plus. Intermediate Excel skills. Willingness to travel to client offices as needed. Nonprofit experience preferred, but not required. Customized cover letter explaining interest and qualifications is required. Compensation and Benefits Base salary $60,000–$80,000 for a 35‑hour full‑time, non‑exempt position. Paid time off: 4 weeks paid vacation and 40 hours sick time (with eligibility for additional time based on tenure). 9 paid holidays.
