Software Engineer, C++ on Linux

Overview We have been retained by our fintech client to deliver a Software Engineer on a full‑time, direct hire basis, 100% remote work from anywhere within 100 miles of Dallas, Texas. Join an advanced, sophisticated team focused on high‑performance network software written in C++ on Linux, providing POSIX compliant TCP, UDP, and multicast interfaces. Responsibilities Collaborate, design, and develop high‑performance network software in C++ on Linux. Implement real‑time data feed handlers, kernel bypass, disruptor pattern, streaming data pipelines. Work with financial exchanges, perform data quality checking, normalizing, and reformatting outgoing pipelines. Contribute to CI/CD on AWS, telemetry, and Datadog integration. Qualifications 2+ years C++ on Unix/Linux, 3-5+ years C++ experience. Strong OOP skills; C# and GoLang are desired. Knowledge of network switching, routing, transport protocols, TCP/UDP/multicast. Experience with disruptor pattern, ring buffer, blocking strategies. Full stack, CI/CD, cloud (AWS) experience. Benefits Annual salary $120k–165k.
