The company operates a manufacturing site in New York State and a trading and logistics office in Texas , with international supply partners across Europe and Asia . About the position: This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with deep experience complex supply chain management, someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and can drive integration across manufacturing, logistics, procurement, and commercial interfaces. Reporting to: North America Region Director – direct report line; and Group COO – functional dotted report line Key Accountabilities: Lead operational and supply chain performance across U.S. sites (1 plant in NY, 1 commercial/trading office in TX) Work in close partnership with the local Plant Manager and Supply Chain Manager to ensure alignment across production, planning, inventory, and logistics. Oversee trading and import flows from multiple international production sources (Europe and Asia), ensuring supply reliability and cost efficiency. Collaborate with commercial and sales teams to align supply chain capabilities with customer requirements, product developments and service levels. Implement best practices and continuous improvement across operational functions, with a strong focus on KPIs, quality, and responsiveness. Support the regional leadership in strategic transformation initiatives and cross-border coordination. Preconditions: Proven track record (10+ years) in supply chain leadership, ideally in industrial or manufacturing settings with international trade exposure. Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain dynamics: sourcing, procurement, shipping, inventory, and production coordination. Capable of bridging plant-level operations and commercial strategy. Hands-on, structured, and collaborative leadership style. Based in or willing to relocate to upstate New York or Houston area; travel required across sites and occasionally overseas.
