Senior Group Business Manager | Metric Geo | MEP & Cx | Metric Exec We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer with exceptional client-facing abilities to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Mechanical Commissioning Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful commissioning and startup of complex mechanical systems and equipment for our clients. In addition to your technical expertise, you will also be responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering outstanding customer service throughout the commissioning process. Key Responsibilities Mechanical Commissioning Leadership: Lead and oversee the commissioning process for mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring they are installed, tested, and operated according to design specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including project managers, engineers, technicians, and contractors, to execute commissioning plans effectively. Client-Facing Responsibilities: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the commissioning phase, building and maintaining professional relationships. Understand client requirements, expectations, and project objectives to tailor commissioning solutions that meet their specific needs. Conduct regular meetings with clients to provide progress updates, address concerns, and ensure their satisfaction throughout the commissioning process. Technical Expertise: Possess an in-depth understanding of mechanical systems and equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and related components. Conduct thorough inspections and performance tests of mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues, ensuring optimal functionality and energy efficiency. Troubleshoot complex technical problems, providing innovative solutions to ensure successful commissioning outcomes. Documentation and Reporting: Create comprehensive commissioning plans, procedures, and reports that detail the entire process, including test results, deviations, and corrective actions taken. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of commissioning activities, deviations, and equipment performance for future reference and compliance. Safety and Quality Assurance: Prioritize safety throughout the commissioning process, ensuring that all activities adhere to established safety protocols and industry regulations. Implement quality assurance measures to guarantee that all systems meet or exceed specified standards and client expectations. Stay updated with industry advancements, new technologies, and best practices related to mechanical systems commissioning. Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and share insights with the team to enhance overall commissioning practices. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Extensive experience in mechanical systems commissioning, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and stakeholders. Previous experience in a client-facing role, demonstrating outstanding customer service and relationship management capabilities. In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment, industry standards, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in using commissioning software tools and equipment for data analysis and reporting. Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure. Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Certifications such as Certified Commissioning Professional (CCP) or similar credentials are a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
